Putting a liquid Mirror on the Moon
Put any liquid into a shallow container and set it spinning, it will naturally assume a parabolic shape—the same shape needed by a telescope mirror to bring starlight into focus. This could be the key to making a giant lunar observatory. Full Story (Via PhysOrg)
