Solar Cells with 'Avalanche Effect' Could Greatly Increase Solar Cell Output
TU Delft’s Prof. Laurens Siebbeles has shown the avalanche effect does occur, in lead selenide (PbSe) nanocrystals. This could increase power output by 44%. Full Story (Via EurekAlert!)
